I should have been a Doctor

It has been my experience lately that modern doctors are often not much of an improvement over primitive medicine men, except where it comes to more serious illnesses.  I can normally predict what a pediatrician or doctor will say before we even step foot into a doctor’s office:

“Make sure to rest and drink plenty of fluids. Take Tylenol if you have any fever.  And, I’m going to prescribe you an antibiotic.”

If I could prescribe antibiotics, I could save myself a significant number of doctor visits.
