Props to Bible Translators – A Day Late

I didn’t realize this, but I found out via a post at Translation and Ethics that yesterday was International Translators Day.  We are all indebted (even those of us who mostly use original languages) to Bible translators both in Ancient and Modern times.  As the post mentions, Jerome is the patron Saint of translators.  So, a day late I want to say thank you to all of those who have invested their lives in the efforts of Bible translation, especially those who are still trying to translate the Bible into languages for which there is currently no translation of the scriptures.  Keep up the good work! It is much appreciated and much needed.
