Jim's title was probably a bit of overstatement, but thanks for the link love! Jim responded to my post about why I finished my PhD this morning with a post entitled: And Jeremy Thompson is Glad Peter Enns Wasn’t His Doctoral Advisor. As I told Jim on Facebook, I'm sure I'd have been happy with Dr. Enns as my supervisor (though I'm not sure I could have possibly been any happier than under the supervisor I did have) as long as :
  1. The cost was reasonable
  2. I had a legit plan B
