These sites are not for those of us that can afford our own Bibles. But, if you are in need and you would like a copy of a Bible, I hope this list of free Bible sites helps.

Thanks to “Qohelet,” one of my commenters for letting me know about this link. I would mention that his blog is well-worth checking out if you get a chance. This is a link to a free PDF Bible the World English Bible version. This could be very helpful as this is the same as the audio version of the Old Testament I link to on my free audio Bibles page. Therefore, you could be listening to and reading the same text.
I have had a number of people ask me about free text downloads of Bibles rather than just audio. I have started to look around a little. HERE is a link to a number of Bibles available for free download in PDF. These are in a variety of languages. But, they are all going to be somewhat older translations that are out of copyright. For those willing to pay for a newer translations, you can check out eBooks.com, which provides a number of Bibles for download. I believe they have a few that can be read using Adobe.
